Justin Mather Biography

Like his guitar collection, Justin Mather's songs, styles and musical skills are as fascinating to behold as they are anxiously played by the always-curious 29-year-old. Mather hails from the Berkshire Hills of Massachusetts and has been performing with bands and as a solo artist since he was fourteen. Spiriting an easy-riding fusion of AMERICANA / ALT-COUNTRY / FOLK/ROCK, Mather writes songs about and for the world - embracing both its beauty and harsh realities. His two self-produced albums have both had favorable reviews from Las Vegas City Life. Mather isn't about snappy hooks or instrument tricks; he plays straightforward, dark-timbre rock that can recall an early Wilco (Riverside), Death Cab For Cutie (Hiding Your Eyes) and even Bob Dylan (The Elevator Song). Justin Mather sounds a bit like Steve Forbert crossed with John Denver, and his songs are romantic and smart enough to make you want to hear them over and again.Mather recently signed 11 songs with two L.A.-based music libraries who work primarily in TV/Film. He is currently gigging regularly and working on recording a rather extensive backlog of songs in his home studio in Boulder City Nevada.

Upon receipt of the information included in the Consultation & Artist Info Package, Buyer agrees that ERG has fulfilled its obligations under this agreement and releases ERG from any and all liability to the maximum extent allowed by law, and will indemnify and hold harmless ERG, its directors, officers, employees, and agents, from and against any and all claims arising from this agreement and subsequent event including but not limited to all third party claims, losses, damages, suits, fees, judgments, costs and expenses (collectively referred to as 'Claims'), including attorneys' fees incurred in responding to such Claims, that the parties may suffer or incur arising out of or in connection with (a) a party’s negligence, willful misconduct, or breach of any representation, warranty, or other obligation under this Agreement, or (b) any personal injury (including death) or damage to property resulting from a party or its agents' acts or omissions and standard force majeure. The parties will give prompt notice of any Claim to the other party, and the parties will defend the opposing party at their request. This Agreement will be governed by, construed and enforced in accordance with the laws of the State of NEVADA.
